The butyl sealing tape can be used between -40° C. and 110° C. It is resistant to both high and low temperatures. The waterproof pipe repair tape adheres to almost all clean and dry surfaces.

To achieve best adhesive results, the adhesive site must be clean and dry. It is advisable to remove excess moss and sand from the bitumen plate to improve adhesion.

Due to its excellent adhesion, the product adheres firmly to almost all substrates and perfectly equalizes small unevenness or transition areas. For larger unevenness, it is recommended to pre-balance with bitumen paste.

For use in cold climates, the tape can be placed in a warm environment, for example, with a hairdryer, and pressure can be exerted with a hot air blower, so that it adheres better to the roof surface. At high outdoor temperatures (approx. 25-30°C) and direct sunlight, the roof can quickly heat up and the bitumen layer adheres too strongly, which impairs its function. In this case, the unused adhesive tape can be temporarily placed in the refrigerator to cool it for about half an hour, It will return to its ideal working condition.

The adhesive tape is extremely strong and can hardly be removed once attached.

It is advisable to cut the adhesive tape with scissors or a knife, as the edges of the adhesive tape come into contact with the asphalt and will remain sticky immediately after cutting.
